What I did: I starred an item in a note
What happened: The item shows the star, but I have to go to that note to see it.
What I expected: I was expecting to have some kind of list of starred items.

Indeed, that is not currently available. We have plans in our roadmap to offer summarized searches that would allow you to just see starred items.
Thank you for the reply. So does the star function do anything currently other then adding the star to the given line item?
At this point it is purely to add a flag/star to a line, to make it more visible. We plan to add more powerful handling of metadata for paragraphs down the track.
