How can I move tasks from one Note to another?

So for my note system I’m currently making a new note for each day and writing out plans, tasks, etc. Obviously not all tasks get done in a day, and some need to be moved over to the next day or maybe delighted to a project.

How can I select a to-do item and move it from one existing note to another?

Currently there is a way to select the dot, right click, and then move it, but so far I’ve only managed to make a new note rather than move that to-do item to another note.

On the Mac, you can use Edit > Checklist menu to do things like this. It has options to move items to the bottom, copy the unchecked items, cut the unchecked items etc. With those, you could select your note, and choose the cut option, pasting in some other note.
