Highlight Text when running saved search

Just transitioned to premium and started leveraged the saved search feature. Noticed that when you run the saved search it does not highlight the search text in the results as it does when you run it from the ad hoc serach field. Highlighting is a nice piece of functionality to have since you’re returning the whole note and not just the snippet. Especially helpful on longer notes with multiple tags.

Can you please put this on the list for consideration?

Thanks

The saved searches are designed to be more like smart folders, that update their content based on the search parameters. It’s a way to get a group of notes together based on some property, like a tag or date. So it is supposed to work like a project, which is why we don’t include any search highlights.

Hope that helps!

Just a note to say I think the highlighting option would be great here. Since the whole note is returned it is very hard to pick out the specific tag you are searching for here. Alternatively, another way to say your set of regular searches would also work.

Saved search highlights are absolutely necessary, especially when searching for #due-tags. If you have a lot of big notes with a lot of #due tags and you want to find #due(today), outputting the complete note with all the other #due tags is of no use at all, if not at least the important tags are highlighted. After all, the #due-tags (unfortunately) do not appear in the calendar sidebar either. So the search is the only way to find them, only that the search gives you everything that is not interesting.
