Help needed to sync Premium onto all devices

What I did: I purchased premium features for Agenda from my office laptop (its also associated with my same iCloud account)

What happened: I have premium features on my office laptop, but don’t have premium on iPad and personal MacBook, even after having signed in with the Apple account from within the Agenda app on each of the devices.

What I expected: That Premium would sync to all devices. Especially considering I plan to use Agenda more on my personal devices than my office laptop.

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc):

Interestingly, I can’t find Agenda listed in Apple’s “Manage Subscriptions” page (reached from System Preferences → Apple ID → Media & Purchases). Please help resolve this sync issue.

Thanks & Love your app,
Pramod.

Hi Team,
It’s now synced up now. Didn’t know it would take about 20-30 minutes to sync up.

Looking forward to making good use of this wonderful app.

Cheers!

Just adding onto this thread, do all devices have to have the same Apple ID for premium to work?

My personal iPad requires my work Apple ID to be on it but I’d use it for personal use with my other machines. Or is there a way that it syncs with the Agenda account instead?

Your Agenda account is separate to your iCloud account, so you can certainly use the same Agenda account on devices with different iCloud accounts.

The one exception is if you want to use Sign in with Apple, because that is linked to your iCloud account. If you did start with Sign in with Apple, it is still possible to sign in on other devices using the email + a password, but you first need to setup a password.

If that is the case, because you have never had to choose a password, what you will want to do is this:

  1. Go into the Agenda Account section in the app
  2. Click “Sign Out” if you are signed in
  3. Enter your Agenda account email address corresponding to Sign in with Apple (may be a random private one, depending on what you chose)
  4. Click on “Reset Password”

You should get an email with instructions to choose a password.

Once you have the password, you can choose to either sign in with apple, or use the email + password. It will be the same account.

iCloud is a different account. Unfortunately you can’t sync your data via iCloud in this situation. Best to make a free Dropbox account, and use that to sync the data.
