Is there a formatting bar or plans to create one? I get a bit tired of clicking on the bottom right start to create a list or other formatting technique. Having a small bar, just like what I see above as I write this note, would be very helpful.
No plans, the panel shown when clicking the circle in the gutter is the “visual” way to set the formatting. If you find yourself getting tired of that, best is to simply use the keyboard shortcuts, right- or control-click, or perhaps even better to use the markdown syntax, e.g. - [ ] to start a list.
