Exclude “Marked As Done” notes from To Do

Absolutely living the new filtered To Do view. This is going to take Agenda to a whole new level for me - easily seeing only my tasks that remain uncompleted. I’ve struggled with this for a long time.

But the To Do overview includes all notes, even if they are Marked As Done - which doesn’t make sense. It would be great, and logical, to exclude these notes.

Brilliant work - Lifetime subscription just purchased!

But you can also set your own filter in the To-Do overview.
A more powerful To Do overview

I can see your point, but maybe changing it now will annoy a lot of people.

As suggested by Roms, probably best just to do a search for todo items, excluding marked as done, and save that as your own “To Do” overview.

Yes, I know I can create my own tailored to do saved overview. But it adds more clutter to the sidebar as the redundant built in to do remains there.

I appreciate some people might find including Done notes useful, so perhaps allow users to edit the default To Do?

We could allow that, but then it wouldn’t necessarily be To Do. It would be exactly the same as every other overview you can create.

I think the ultimate solution is simple to allow people to choose which overviews to show. We do have plans for a feature like that.
