One missing feature I really need is equations. I’m a data scientist and I’d like to use Agenda like a lab notebook.

We will consider it in future. We are currently busy adding support for images, so perhaps you could use that to embed images of equations from another app. Could be a short term alternative.

There are a bunch of equation plugins for slack that work similar to that.
+1 for equation, on the similare way Keynote/Pages are now implementing latex equation into documents
