Enourmous pdf-files

I made a note with 5 pictures and just a few lines of text. Original photos of max2-3 mb size in total. Exporting as a Pdf result in a 75 MB file - increasing the file size way beyond reason

PDF is not a very good format for images. It has very poor compression. So the 2MB JPEG you put in becomes much bigger.

There are tools around that can compress PDF, like PDF Squeezer. That works quite well. You will likely lose a little quality in the images, but probably not noticeable.
