Hi here’s my feature request of the day: Editable keyboard shortcuts, or cutomizable hotkeys: Some, maybe not most, apps allow you to go into the app settings and specify your own keyboard shortcuts. I am fully aware that I can do this in Apple settings as well, but it’s a project requiring a lot of effort and I just haven’t been bothered to getting around to doing it in over 2 months now. Agenda’s keyboard shortcuts are too difficult to memorise becaues they require 2 or sometimes 3 modifier keys. I get that this has to be done from a developer standpoint to reduce the likelihood of conflicts. I know this because I have already programmed at least 100 of my own keyboard shortcuts into Apple’s system settings. So it’s just a feature request from a user, allow us to have a setting in app that allows us to see what kind of common keyboard shortcuts are on offer and to choose to enable or disable the set and give it our own simplified or customised keyboard shortcut settings. Thanks for your attention in this matter. Let’s Make Agenda Great Again!
REALLY!
To be fair, it’s great that I can access a lot of options using the “\” command.
Can you explain what would be better if we added a copy of the system keyboard shortcuts in Agenda? Wouldn’t it be almost the same?
One advantage of leaving it all to the system is that everyone knows where to find the place to customize every app. That is probably why Apple put it there.
