Double enter sets bullet list option to none

In word and other text editors, when done with a series of list items, double enter will set the current bullet/list to none. I don’t know if it was an explicit decision, but continuing to click enter keeps moving the “-“ or whatever the bullet type down the page which I wouldn’t think is a common use case. I am sure I could learn the keyboard short cut but I haven’t found one so I am having to select no list item manually which is a little annyoing.

It is a deliberate choice, yes. We decided it was much more logical to press backspace/delete to clear the list marker. So rather than press enter twice, you can just press delete (to delete the list style).
