Change style for Markdown texts

Hello there,

I like Agenda very much but what I really miss is the option to edit the style of markdown text appearance.

Especially for Titles H1 - H5 I don’t agree with Agenda´s formatting of text size and style. I would prefer lowering text sizes instead of italic (see H2).
Maybe even the option to save different styles as an preset - would help me a lot more than the actual preset option!

I hope for that feature and your thoughts about that.

Thank you

Michael

Thanks. The problem really is that with 6 levels, if all you do is change the text size, they become difficult to distinguish. That’s why we vary size, but also style (italic/bold).

One option if you only use a few of the styles is simply to use H1, H3, H5, so they are all bold and getting smaller.

We will likely give more control over this in future. We hear the request. Thanks!

@drewmccormack I would suggest that to set H2, H4 to no italic and bold style too as it’s more general and similar what we have on HTML or any other note taking app. I am using only H1, H3 for unifying the style but would like to use H2 when blogging. Hope we can customized the style if possible.

We’ll think about it. The problem with that approach is that H2 and H4 are then not distinguishable from H1 and H3, if you see what I mean. I’m not sure we have the playroom in the sizing to make the distinctions clear without styles like italic. But we’ll consider it when looking at the theming part.

@drewmccormack thanks for the response, yes, understood that it’s hard to verified h1, h2, h3, h4 only by the font size. But it’s also not quite friendly for us who are using non-latin character, for me is Traditional Chinese, as there is no italic style for it. For this case, the varied size with same style (says bold) is better than what you are using currently. thank you.

Optimum headers would be 4 sizes (even 3) and user selectable bold and/or italics.

With 6 heading styles, you could probably make a set of 4 to suit you. Eg. h1, h3, h5, h6 or something like that. But more options would be nice, agreed.
