Cannot format Chinese characters to Italic

What I did:

I try to italicize Chinese characters (both Simplified and Traditional), but it take no effect.

What happened:

No effect.

What I expected:

Make selected characters in Italic format

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc):

Agenda version: 9.3
macOS Catalina 10.15.3

The reason is that the Chinese font doesn’t support the Italic font trait. We have some alternative solutions in mind that might allow mimicking the italic style.
