Can the feature of group encryption be added?

This software is incredibly practical and has become an indispensable tool in my daily life. However, I have a suggestion that I hope you will consider. I use this software to categorize and store my sales client information as well as my meticulously planned schedules. Additionally, I use it to record my daily moods and private diaries. There are also some trivial memos and casual notes. Therefore, I strongly hope that a feature can be added to encrypt my private content. This way, even if someone browses through my computer, they won’t be able to peek at the information in the software that I prefer to keep private.(I am referring to group encryption.)

In case you haven’t seen, we do support private notes and projects. With this feature, you can add a password or biometric to hide a note or project. You can even apply it to the whole app (in Agenda settings).

This feature is not encryption, but more to hide content from prying eyes.

We don’t support full encryption, but your device does. If you wish, you can turn on File Vault on a Mac, and I you wish, you can use Apple’s Advanced Data Protection to use end-to-end encryption in iCloud. (If you do this, switch Agenda to use the Encrypted iCloud sync, and make sure you remove the old data when it asks.)

Hopefully one or both of these helps.

Note that if someone is physically at your computer, with it unlocked, they can access a lot. It is very hard to protect against what they could do. The note/project hiding mentioned above is at least a first line of defense, though someone who is technical could still find the data disk if they knew what they were doing.

Kind regards,
Drew

Perhaps you misunderstood what I meant. I was referring to the fact that I have many categories in my notes, and I need to encrypt them by category. By “encryption,” I simply mean I don’t want others to see them.

I spent some time researching how to use the app and finally understood what you meant by “encryption project.” It seems to be a difference in translation between Chinese and English. What I understood as “encryption project” is likely translated into English as “lock project” in your context.

Yes, lock project.

I understand your request now. You want to be able to lock at the category level. Makes sense. I’ll take it along for future planning. Thanks!
