I ask myself this question:
Why is the calendar view “Short reminder” and “New calendar event” on the Mac so much worse than the “Standard view” or the one on the iPhone?

I’m not quite sure what you mean. It looks almost the same to me, with the exception that past days are dimmed on the Mac. I would argue that is a logical design decision if you are scheduling a new reminder, since you are unlikely to pick a day in the past.
We don’t tend to make these decisions randomly. There was no doubt a design reason for this, like the one I mentioned above (I didn’t actually make this control).
You might wonder why that is not the case for calendar events: for one, they can span ranges of days. It is certainly possible to create an event in the past (the conference from last month), or a range that starts in the past and goes into the future. For this reason, it was likely thought that dimming dates was too extreme in this case.
