Increased opacity needed on the window background; perhaps affecting orange lettering in side bar. Dark mode looks good. BTW, the lighter shadowing in the side bar is the white format pallet bleeding thru. It still (occasionally > often) decides not to close.
Screen color is black.
Unfortunately it’s the downside of the design that Apple introduced, especially if indeed something 100% white is behind it, we’ll take your feedback on board to see what we could do.
Ah ha. They (apple) left a solution. It’s a bit like hitting the problem with a hammer but better that than ones finger. In accessibilities > Vision there is a button to reduce transparency that gets the job done. Not as subtle as a Mirepoix or Soffritto but…
