What I did:
Try to open a locked project.
What happened:
In order to open the locked project via biometrics, I need to click on the biometrics icon and then tigger the touch ID or Face ID:
What I expected:
When I open a locked project, the system can trigger the touch ID or Face ID without clicking on the icon.
Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc):
18.0, on all devices.
Our worry is this…
Imagine you are showing someone something at work, and you accidentally click on a private project. It will bring up the sheet to authenticate, and you can just press cancel. No problem.
But if we automatically trigger Face ID, it could unlock immediately, and you would accidentally reveal your private project.
The situation is a bit different with Touch ID. That requires a deliberate action. We could perhaps investigate if there is a way to force the system to begin that immediately.

Note by the way that there are two shortcuts that can help:
you can trigger the biometrics by just hitting enter, or
you can trigger the biometrics by clicking anywhere in the placeholder view
No need to hit the icon specifically
