To my eye, the text for a done task should be reduced in brightness or shown as crossed out because other than the checkmark, all done items have roughly the same visual heirarchy as tasks still open.

More options when it comes to lists and displaying and/or hiding of checked-off items is a popular request, among The features we are working on right now…

Thank you! One thing to note is that being able to see a task as complete if even for 24 hours is a motivator. It’s good to see progress on our lists. I love how the TickTick app handles this before moving done items to an archive.
Put me down for the same gray that the non-completed task circle uses, applying that to the text with strikethrough. 
Hi, would it be possible to also consider making a checked item more prominent (similar to the Notepad app on the iPhone/iPad where the circle is colored with a white tick in the middle) please? Thank you.
