“Ask Agenda” feature for Sequoia 15.6.1 & 15.7

I’m currently using Agenda Version 21.0 (354), but I haven’t updated to macOS 26 or iOS 26 yet.

Does this mean that the “Ask Agenda” feature won’t be available until I update?

Yes, it only works on iOS 26+ and macOS 26+. That’s not a restriction from Agenda, it is because Ask Agenda is using Apple Intelligence, and the feature it needs was only added this time. So it doesn’t work on older OSes. Sorry.

Ok. Thanks

Hey, i really appreciate agenda. However, I am not a big fan of “AI everywhere” and would like to avoid Agenda Notes being unnecessarily exposed.. Is there any documentation about the privacy aspects of this new feature or the possibility to disable it?

I think we did document it in the release notes.

Important for you is that your data does not leave the device. Apple use an on-device LLM. It looks at your notes to answer questions, but it does not send any data to the cloud at all. So it is private.

If we ever add a feature that requires data to be uploaded for AI, it will certainly be something you have to opt in to. (I think Apple would go down the same path.)

Hope that explains it.

Thank you, I’ve found it now. And you indeed mentioned it. Somehow didn’t think of looking for release notes as i got the feature only now (with upgrading Apple) and not with an Agenda Upgrade.
For anyone stumbling over this conversation - you can find the release notes here: Release Notes - #73 by drewmccormack

Hardware-wise, my iPad supports Apple Intelligence, but my Mac and iPhone do not. If I upgrade to the latest premium version and replace my iPhone and Mac with ones that support Apple Intelligence, will I be able to use Ask Agenda on all of them?

Ask Agenda will work on any device that supports Apple Intelligence. If you update your devices such that Apple Intelligence works, Ask Agenda will also work.

Hope that helps!
