What I did: Clicking to remove note from agenda or just writing on note window with an additional note window opened.
What happened: The app simply crash and I had to restart agenda app. I’ve tried rebooting my MacBook but the issue persisted. The most recent change is the Sequoia updates to 15.1 and Apple Intelligence turn on.
What I expected: Agenda is stable when I’m doing agenda “stuff"
Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc): Agenda 19.2.1 (315) on Sequoia 15.1 with Apple Intelligence turn on, M2 MacBook Air.
My other iMac 27” mac running same Agenda version on Monterey 12.7.6 is running fine.
I’ve also been experiencing many crashes since Sequoia and since 15.1, but also possibly before then, on my M1 Pro MBP. Often this is associated with editing a windowed note while accessing another in the main window, but it’s not always that scenario either. This is with things fully updated as well.
Hmm, OK. Are you both sending the crash reports when you restart Agenda? If so, we should be able to see the crash in our crash system.
The crash report had been sent.
Yes, I have been. I haven’t always included a description due to trying to get back into my work quickly, but they’re always being sent.
I experiment crashes when I right-click (sometimes left-click) on a PDF in “inline” presentation. Here on macOS 15.2 dev beta 4. Report send.
Thanks all for the details. I was able to track down the issue using your help.
The issue is related to changes made by Apple with Writing Tools, which was added in 15.1.
I have a fix in Agenda 20.

That’s great. When is the release date for Agenda 20?
If we disable Apple AI/Writing tools, will it be able to resolve it ? I will try it.
Thanks.
I don’t think so. It’s a new piece of code Apple added, and I think it will be used even when writing tools doesn’t appear. But I suppose you could try turning it off.
We haven’t set a release date yet. We are in the process of beta testing it.
If you want to join the beta, post a comment in this thread: Can I join the Agenda Beta program?
