I found this thread Remove Project/Category from Device (Save storage) - #4 by daveb08 and wanted to see if there had been any discussion on implementing a feature that would allow a “selection” of either folders or projects to be ONLY stored in backup (ie iCloud) to help free up local storage?
I have a lot of projects that, while I would like to keep for records, don’t need to be stored on my device locally any longer and I’m starting to run out of space!
No so far, I’m afraid. Agenda is a local-first app, which means we don’t store your data on our own cloud servers. This makes it a bit more difficult to make such a feature, though it would be doable.
For now, your best option would be to select a project, export as Agenda File, then delete the project. Empty the trash in the app. Store the exported Agenda Files somewhere safe.
We’ll take along the request to be able to do a true archive. Thanks for the feedback!
