What I did: When opening the Agenda Community window, the following message appears “Unfortunately, your browser is too old to function on this site. Please upgrade your browser to view rich content, log in and play again.”
What happened:
What I expected: access this page
Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc):
I have the following browsers installed: Safari, Chrome and Opera. Only Safari is out of date, and the default browser is Opera
Operating system: Mac OS Sierra V 10.12.6
Agenda V 14.0.2
Thanks for reporting, I’m afraid we’re hitting the end of the road with macOS 10.12. We’ll see if this can be prevented but very likely we won’t be able to support this version of macOS much longer. Can I ask what is holding you back to move to 10.13 or higher? Is your machine not supporting these?
The reason I use masOS 10.12 is because I have an application (Autocad) that doesn’t work on macOS 10.13
Thanks for letting us know. We’ll probably be able to support macOS 10.12 for the next few minor releases, but quite likely we will drop support in Agenda 15, I’m afraid. At some point it just becomes too much work to have the app have to handle different scenarios for old and new OSes.
One option for you may be to use something like Parallels to run 10.12 as a virtual machine. I do that for test purposes, and it works quite well, though it probably depends how often you need to use Autocad. Probably not a solution if you are using it all day.
Kind regards,
Drew
I will try that possibility. Thank you.
