What I did: shared photo from Photos app into a New Note in Agenda

What I expected: to find that photo in the New Note

Did you notice the share sheet returning to the initial state by any chance?
Yes - the share sheet returned to normal state. It all appears to function normally but the photo is just missing. When I go to the newly created note, the photo is missing. “empty note"
Isn’t it the same problem?

Don’t think it is, more likely just hitting the memory limits the system imposes. As a test, does it work if you reboot your phone (when it generally has more memory available)?
