New Categories not appearing in sidebar

What I did:
Created a new category.

What happened:
No category appeared in sidebar, even when creating multiple categories.

What I expected:
Category to appear on sidebar.

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc):
v2.1.1

Relaunching the app will expose all of the categories created in previous session, but now there are duplicates (due to creating the same category multiple times).

Relaunching only fixes the problem temporarily.

Hi Jin,
Does restarting your computer help?
Can you open the Console application, and then try creating a category in Agenda? Any errors printed out there in Console if you search for Agenda?

Thanks for the quick response.

This doesn’t happen every time, so I will have to play with it over the next week to see if it still happens, now that I’ve restarted my computer.

That’s correct but we didn’t receive reports of new occurrences after the 2.1.1 update.
