Military DTG format for dates


Is there a way to format dates in Agenda using the Military DTG format (

For example, 21 June 2020 at 0850 would be:

Optionally, there is a one letter code for time zone (“S” for Central, US).


Not at the moment, but this will be possible in the next update (version 11).

Update: You can now do this in version 11 through actions, which you can use both in notes as well as in templates.

For this one you’d use \now(format: ddHHmmMMMyy) as described in the above link, making use of the unicode date format patterns.

Once configured, the format will be remembered and you can just use \now on next occasions. To restore to the default date format you can use \now(default).
