I noticed that on my iPad Pro M2, when typing in one of the notes there is a slight millisecond delay before the letters actually hits the note / can be seen. It is subtle but very noticeable, and I think it gives the app a bit of a heavy feel.
Is this something you can improve so letters and content just enters directly in the notes without delay? I should probably mention that I am storing my notes in iCloud with E2EE (Advanced data protection). But I’m guessing it doesn’t update the note data in iCloud immediately when you click on the keyboard.
We are constantly improving performance of editing. It is much better now than it was in the beginning.
It can sometimes feel a little slow, particularly with large notes, or notes with images/tables etc. Also, deletion is a bit slower due to the way the editor works. It is difficult to make that as fast.
It probably looks like Agenda is just a simple text editor, but it does have to do a lot, and it also shows you multiple notes in a timeline, which no other note taking app does. So there are challenges there for us, but we are always trying to improve it.
If you have specific cases where you notice it being slow, let us know, so we can look into it.
I have noticed this issue as well. When speed typing is does impact the typing and creates quite a bit of retyping only on my iPad Pro 13. Not an issue on my iMac.
