Say my cursor is inside a sentence, for instance at the start of the last word. I select the previous two words using the keyboard, cmd-shift-left twice. The selection has a trailing space (the one before the last word). If I add a link to the selection (using cmd-K), the trailing space of the selection is deleted (and the last word of the sentence gets stuck to the previous selection).
