Filtered text is such an amazing feature. I’m already a huge fan of Agenda and have been using it for so many years now and this one feature I would say makes it exponentially better.
However, I think there’s one addition to it that, at least for me, would add so much value because I could use it so much more. Let me explain.
I often will want to filter all of my notes in a particular way. So I’ll do a search, but the only way that I can filter the text of the results is to create an overview. But often times I just want to see the results temporarily. I’m not interested in a permanent search and filtering of ir. And so I would have to create an overview and then delete it or have a lot of overviews that I don’t really use that are taking up a lot of space.
There already is a way to create a search and then just open up the results in a new window. But there is no way to filter the text of that new window that has the search results. That would make such a difference to be able to have that wonderful filter text feature available in the new search window.
Would that be hard to implement?
One of the things I use Agenda for is a bullet journal. and I would love to be able to do lots of different searches with filtered text, but the variety of them is too many to have them all be overviews. this addition would solve that.
