It would be useful to have ability to designate a template in the template library, for use when using 3D touch on the Agenda app icon to create a new note. That way we don’t have to go back in the Agenda app to format new note to be like the template.

I can see the use case but unfortunately those 3D touch shortcut icons can not be dynamic, they are hard coded, which makes it impossible to populate the menu with the list of current templates I’m afraid.
Ah, thanks for the in sight. I did not realize the 3D press menu is hard coded and can’t talk back to the app.
Maybe iOS 14 will open the doors.
