Syncing doubled my categories

What I did: I installed Agenda on my MacBook Air, which I use for travels, and activated the syncing via iCloud.

What happened: The notes arrived OK, but all my categories got doubled. Every category now exists 2x, one with the projects, the other empty.

What I expected: I expected the categories to only arrive 1x, as in the original Agenda on my iMac.

What I tried: I tried to get rid of the »doubles« by renaming them first (to »abc« or so) and then deleting them. Which worked for some, but not for others. One I got deleted, but it popped up again almost immediately.

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc): Agenda 7.0 (91), macOS Sierra 10.12.6

Does it help if you:

  • quit Agenda
  • in Go to Folder under the Go menu in Finder, paste:
    ~/Library/Containers/com.momenta.agenda.macos/Data/Documents/Agenda/
  • make a backup copy of the DerivedInfo folder, then delete it
  • start Agenda

Do things works as they should after that?

Thanks!
In fact, it worked.

I may delete the backup folder, I suppose? (I just renamed it actually, and I could see how a new one was built.)

Yes, you can delete the backup, glad to hear it worked!
