Sync is not working between iphone and Mac

Hello,
my iphone agenda data is not syncing to my agenda on Mac.
i have double checked that iam on the same icloud user account.
but still the sync doesnt happen.
can you help?

Sorry to hear that, best is to look at this topic: Syncing between desktop and iOS

Most important is to ensure you’re logged in with the same Apple ID and have iCloud drive enabled on all devices.

So, “family sharing” on icloud doesn’t work?
It HAS to be the SAME Apple ID?

Family Sharing is only for purchases. You can pay with one card, and also share storage etc. But each family member still has their own Apple ID, so they can have their own data.

If your objective is to share data between multiple people, you would either have to sign in with exactly the same iCloud on each device, or you could try using Dropbox, and signing in to a single account for sync (it can be different to your normal Dropbox account).

I gave up on iCloud
i decided to use dropbox instead.
its working mych better.
However, i can not view the “today” file on the app (phone).
everything else shows up fine. Just not “today”.
