What I did: I created a smart overview using a tag , I then filtered the view to show only incomplete todos
What happened: It shows all notes tagged as expected but it also shows ALL incomplete todos, not just the ones with the tag I selected
What I expected: I expected it to show me only incomplete todos for the tag selected or person selected , ie show me all open todos that I have tagged @Computer
Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc):
The smart overview chooses notes with the tag. The text filtering is unrelated to that: it is for choosing what content in each note to include. So, yes, if you choose “incomplete todos”, you will get all of them, not just the ones matching the tag.
What might work for you is to choose not the incomplete todos, but the tag for the filter. That way you only see the lines with the tag. Admittedly you will get all lines with the tag, not just incomplete todos, but depending on your purpose, that might be OK.
The text filter doesn’t have a way to require two things (eg incomplete todo and includes tag). It is just a simple system where you choose the content you want to see, and it will include any paragraph that matches any of it.
