Reminder calendars are shown twice in set reminder dialog

What I did:

  • Used Insert -> Reminder, then tried to select a reminder calendar

What happened:

  • Each reminder calendar is listed twice

What I expected:

  • Each reminder calendar should only be listed once.

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc):

  • Version: 12.0.2 (181) Mac App Store
  • OS: 11.2.1
  • Model: MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020)

That’s very odd, are these iCloud reminder lists?

They are shared via iCloud. I migrated from the old MacBook Pro to the new one and somehow ended up with each calendar being duplicated on the new machine.

Does it help if you:

  • quit Agenda
  • in Go to Folder under the Go menu in Finder, paste:
    ~/Library/Group Containers/WRBK2Z2EG7.group.com.momenta.agenda.macos/Release/Application/DerivedInfo
  • make a backup copy of the CachedInfo folder, then delete it
  • start Agenda

Do things works as they should after that?

Just tried that. Still each calendar is shown twice. I also deinstalled Agenda (using appcleaner) and reinstalled. Same behavior.

Very strange, do you perhaps have two accounts configured in the system preferences? Does the system calendar app only show a single calendar set?
