Pocket

Any thoughts on getting transcripts and/or notes out of Pocket and into Agenda?

Pocket does not give us a clean way to pull content out via an API for things like this, so an automatic import is tricky. A couple of options that work today:

  1. If you use Pocket in Safari, you can open the article and use the new Safari web clipper in Agenda 23 to capture the article into your Inbox. That covers individual reads.
  2. If you have a large Pocket archive, Pocket can export your saved items as an HTML file from their settings page. You could turn that into notes via Shortcuts or the MCP server, but it is a bit of manual work.

Long term, having more import bridges is something we have on the list. We will take this along too.

Is not Pocket deprecated? Or is this another Pocket app? I am confused

Good question. Yes, you’re right, Mozilla shut Pocket down last year, so there isn’t a live Pocket service to pull from any more. Mozilla did have an export option for a while, but that window has closed too, so old saves aren’t retrievable at this point.

Going forward, for anything you read in Safari, the Agenda 23 web clipper captures the article straight into your Inbox, which covers the read-it-later workflow Pocket used to handle.

Sorry for the confusion.
