Just bought the app last night after a quick walkthrough. Loving it, so far. I was especially excited about the “upcoming” Apple Contacts connectivity which would be the app of my dreams but, now, I see that the feature has been “upcoming” since 2018. Is it, in fact, happening?

Yes, still on the roadmap. There have been a lot of features on the list since 2018. We try to address the most requested or important features for each release.
The contacts integration is certainly nearing the top of the list. We just added a tag browser, and that was an essential piece in our contacts integration. Stay tuned!
