–What I did: shared a snippet of markdown text from another app with Agenda

–What happened: Hashtags in markdown headings (#) were converted into tags

–What I expected: Hashtags in markdown headings remain hashtags in markdown headings

– Things that might be helpful to know:
Agenda version: 9.3.2, OS: macOS 10.15.4 and model: MacBook 2017

–Suggestions:

  • possibility to share markdown texts with Agenda (while keeping the headline formatting)
  • paste as markdown as a new feature (edit menue item and/or shortcut) or
  • possibility to convert tags into markdown hashtags or
  • switch off tag feature in Agenda settings

I don’t seem to have this problem. Are you putting a space between the # and your title?

Yes, you need a space for headings. Otherwise they will be considered tags.
