I’m seeing overlap text in macOS. Is there a setting change that can fix this or is this a bug?

That is no doubt a glitch. Restarting the app should fix it.
If you notice some action that triggers this, please let us know. We know this does happen at times, but don’t know the cause, which makes it difficult to track down and fix.
I restarted the app many times already.
Are you saying it always returns when you start the app? Do you see a specific action trigger it?
