Magnifying glass icon often disappears

I often use the “magnifying glass” in the upper right corner to filter [unfinished notes] and [mark Agenda notes].

Sometimes when I want to click the “magnifying glass” icon to filter again after exiting the filter, I find that the “magnifying glass” icon is missing.

I tried to click on the blank space where the “magnifying glass” disappeared and the “small circle” appeared again
