How do mass remove items "On the Agenda" list

What I did: using agenda, adding notes, linking to calendar

What happened: now my On the Agenda page is full of notes that are no longer needed. There does not seem to be an easy way to remove them.

What I expected: If OTA is supposed to be a top level Notes category, I expect an easy way to add notes, and an easy way to remove them when they are no longer a priority

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc):

Want to answer my own question.
I can use the keyboard to mass select the notes on the agenda and do the keyboard shortcut for removing from on the agenda. that worked!

You can also shift or command notes in the title area to multiple-select notes and then use the menu item under the Note menu to remove them.
