Let’s face it - a note taking app needs a way for a piece of text to get highlighted (with a background color). While it might be challenging to pick the right predefined colors - it’s still a must-have (IMO).

You can use italic, bold, and strikethrough. We will look at adding highlighting. Thanks for the feedback.

Some tools support highlighting with ‘=‘ as this case: ‘==this text would be highlighted==‘.
