I really like Agenda, but there aren’t many updates, and I’m starting to get the impression that it’s falling behind other note-taking apps. I’d like to ask if there are any new features planned for this year, such as project creation, AI integration, Notes on Apple Watch, or others?
Thanks for the message. We generally have a big update 3 times a year. The last was Agenda 22, which included Advanced Tables, drag-to-reorder paragraphs, attachment content search (eg PDFs), an MCP server to use with AI tools, and Ask Agenda for using Apple Intelligence to query your notes.
There’s actually quite a lot coming in Agenda 23 which is in beta right now.
It includes:
- Native Apple Contacts integration, so you can link contact cards to notes via @person tags.
- Send to Agenda, where you can email notes into the app.
- An Apple Watch app.
- A bunch of new languages, including Japanese.
Later in the year we will have a release focussed on whatever Apple brings out at WWDC in June.
If you’d like to try the beta, the TestFlight links are:
- iOS: Join the Agenda: Notes meets Calendar beta - TestFlight - Apple
- macOS: Join the Agenda - Notes meets Calendar beta - TestFlight - Apple

Any chance we can get meeting recording, transcription, summarization?
Audio recording is something we want to add, and it is pretty high on the list. Once we have audio in the app, transcription and summarisation through Apple Intelligence (or via Ask Agenda) would be a natural next step. Not in Agenda 23, but on the radar.
