Annotations on images not auto saving

Just starting to use annotation. Very useful, but…

I keep losing annotations because I forget to click “done” before navigating away to another note etc.

Really need auto saving!

Edit: I’m now really confused. I did click Done and the annotations still disappeared.

I think I’m maybe not doing this right. Do I need to Lock before Done?

Are you on the iPad? Are you using undo while drawing?
