I am on an iPad 13 Pro (M4), using iOS 26.1 and Agenda version 21.1. Every time I try to sort the notes in a project, when I touch the button with the cursor—I’m using Apple’s iPad keyboard—Agenda crashes.
I appreciate any help with this.

We have heard about it from a few others. It is seems related to using the external keyboard.
We will have a fix for version 22 which should be out in a few weeks.

I have the same problem. The app crashes permanently after 30seconds. I use an ipad pro (4th generation with IpadOS 26.2).I also have an external keyboard, but it crashes even when I don’t use it.In general, it has become very slow (maybe because my agenda notes cover now 3,5GB)
It also closed on my iphone (also Ios 26.2., iphone 13pro). Both have the latest agenda version installed

Running into the same issue. The app typically crashes within a minute of the app being used. Even after I have typed notes within a new entry, none of the notes are getting saved, but the new entry still appears. Agenda is the most used app on my iPad, and I use it to keep all notes taken from every meeting I’m in, so please help getting this resolved. Thank you!
The app has now become completely unusable as it is constantly crashing. Please roll out a fix for this problem, as I am now going to have to look for something new until this problem is resolved. Thanks.
Also running into same issue with iPad pro (gen. 4 v.26.2) and iPhone 15 pro (v.26.2). Issues began today, maybe after update? App crashes within 20 seconds of opening. What in the houdini?
This forced pause with agenda shows me how much of my life revolves around this invaluable app.
I wasn’t experiencing this with version 21, but started seeing this behaviour with 22. after 20 seconds or so (I counted) the app just goes to the background, this is happening on iPads and iPhone.

Working on it now. It seem it is related to indexing of attachments, which is why it only affects some people.
People with large attachments or many attachments (eg PDFs) are likely affected.
We hope to have a fix out today. Sorry for the trouble.
Drew, just curious. Is the app doing full indexing every time, or is it just doing incremental indexing?
Incremental. The problem people are seeing is likely when there are many PDFs in a note, or just large PDFs. It would only be an issue first launch of Agenda 22. But I’ve improved that now. It is in the TestFlight and should be out as soon as Apple review it.
The new iOS app is in the App Store now.
Unfortunately, still happening on my iPhone and iPad after installing 22.0.1. MacOS okay.

OK, someone finally sent me a decent report of the issue from their logs, and I can see that the system is killing the app due to excessive CPU usage. It’s not actually a crash, which is why I don’t see crash reports.
I have a fix coming later today. Hopefully this one will solve it for good.

Have you tried version 22.0.1 yet? It’s available. Does it help?
22.0.1 isn’t helping. I still get an application UI crash within 20-30 seconds of opening the app. Please let me know if there is anything I can send you to help diagnose the problem.
